Perrucci Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet is King in our family and this wine truly lives up to that royal position. With two years spent in a mixture of new and neutral American oak along with another two years quietly resting in the bottle, this wine is ready to burst forth with flavor. It is filled with fig, currant and dark cherry fruit along with coffee and vanilla undertones. A small percentage of Merlot and Malbec give it a smooth finish.

Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot

There is something special about the grapes grown on the coastal side of the Santa Cruz Mountains, which makes our Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot also very special. The sun drenched slopes are gently cooled by the ocean breeze which give the wine so much structure and backbone. Full bodied and full of flavor, our Merlot will certainly surprise you with mild cherry and vanilla with mint and leather undertones.

 

Mesolanza Red Table WIne

Our Mescolanza is a blend of selected barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This marriage of varietals gives our wine extraordinary depth, definition and complexity. The 2009 Mescolanza is now made entirely from Santa Clara Valley fruit and to showcase that change, it wears a new label that is reminiscent of mid-century fruit and vegetable harvest boxes. Known to us as “The Valley of Heart’s Delight”, these labels were once very common in the endless the orchards and vineyards that covered the land long before silicon chips and semiconductors.

 

Heritage Series Santa Clara Valley Cabernet

Perrucci Family Vineyard “Heritage Series” Cabernet Sauvignon are wines from three small Santa Clara Valley vineyards. All are identical clones of Cabernet planted in the same year on the same trellis system. The only difference is the location. Each is harvested, cellared and bottled separately. Each has a unique flavor profile that is influenced solely on the differences in soil, exposure and micro-climate – nothing else.

 

Santa Cruz Mountains Sangiovese

Sangiovese is a family favorite for many reasons. It is a wine that is comfortable when paired with almost any dish but also has what it takes to stand on its own. Made from 100% Perrucci Family Estate fruit, our Sangiovese is similar to the style of our Tuscan relatives. Our unique growing conditions allow for very long hang times which help create structure, build flavor and soften tannins all without getting over ripe. It is full of bright red fruit and mild herbs. This wine is ready to drink now and will continue to age well for 3-5 more years.

 

Regan Vineyard Chardonnay

This extraordinary wine is made from 100% Regan Vineyards Chardonnay, the only variety we do not grow ourselves. It was fermented in a mixture of stainless steel and French Oak barrels. It also retains a portion of its malic acid which gives it a hint of crisp green apple and ripe grapefruit.
